A.S. Social was created in 2018 after noticing a gap in services for adults on the autism spectrum, especially when it came to social development, life skills and successful engagement in community.

Sam Wall (founder of A.S. Social) spent his life post diagnosis engaged in a number of programs aimed at advancing social skills but still struggled to be fully supported as there was nothing that understood social interactions from an autistic perspective. In his professional career he worked in training and education, inclusive communities and aged care, Sam became increasingly passionate about supporting his A S community to improve their quality of life. A.S. Social exists to empower autistic adults to live a full, social and independent life, our fundamental goal is to equip individuals with the knowledge and support that allows them to thrive.

We developed the A.S Social digital portal as a safe space for interpersonal development, learning, to gain critical skills and connect authentically.

A.S. Social incorporates a number of evidence-based programmes tailored to meet the needs of those on the Autism spectrum. Our social levels will guide you through a range of social training, helping you to better understand your needs and navigate friendships/relationships.

Your dedicated social coach will work with you closely to achieve specific goals over the duration of the programme, empowering you to take control of your social life. Delivered digitally on A.S. Social’s online platform, you’ll have the freedom to learn at your own pace. Accompanied by attending our monthly Hang Outs™ and other A.S. events allowing you to apply your practical knowledge in a relaxed, safe, and fun environment.

LEVELS

Built with direct input from our clients A.S. allows social agency when working towards goals and outcomes. The A.S. Social programme subtly guides participants through social learning aimed at improving key skills. We offer a range of study tools to assist with the learning, like additional reading, workbooks, and videos to watch. Encouraging you to start preparing and understanding overall learning concepts. Each level is facilitated by one of A.S. Social's dedicated social coaches (all social coaches identify as being on the autism spectrum) who are there to assist and support the participants. Individuals receive unlimited* access to the A.S. Social Skills Programme, to assist and encourage social engagement through all life stages.
